BREAKFAST WITH JOÃO

I take my breakfast very seriously. The thought of eating it gets me out of bed in the blink of an eye.

The first thing I do to rehydrate my body in the morning is to squeeze half a lemon to a cup of hot water. Drinking it gives me just that boost I need after waking up.

I like to cook breakfast and, ideally, it includes 2 poached or scrambled eggs, which I find a great source of high-quality protein and vitamins, on a piece of toast. I tried but just cannot give up bread completely so this is usually the only bread I have. I also have a side of avocado, which is packed with good fats and helps me feel fuller for longer.

My most important morning obsession: a large cup of delicious coffee, no sugar. Don't you just love the aroma of coffee in the morning?
