GREEN KICKSTARTER SMOOTHIE
BYE BYE MONDAY BLUES!
Let’s face it - Mondays are hard for most of us, especially in winter! It’s dark, cold and we have a full work week ahead of us.
But there is a way to start loving Mondays - actually 2 ways!
The first is all about mindset. Mondays are not the end of the weekend but the start! Tick off your to-do list, finish off your projects, go to your favourite HIIT classes, cook your healthy meals and make plans for the weekend that’s just around the corner.
The second is this awesome immune-boosting, nutrient packed Green Kickstarter Smoothie!
It’ll start you off just right and it’s super easy to make.
- ½ frozen banana
- Handful of baby spinach (or kale)
- 1 tsp of freshly grated ginger
- ½ cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Juice of half a lemon (optional)
- Blend till smooth
Ginger is a great ingredient to add to your diet for all it’s anti-inflammatory properties; it can help you fight off those nasty winter bugs and reduced muscle-pain & soreness after exercise!
