9 TIPS TO A HAPPIER FLOW

BEAT Instructor Clélia's tips to a happier healthier FLOW:

  1. Use your breath to guide your FLOW. Breath first and asana will follow.
  2. Don't do the pose, experience the pose. Explore, find some freedom in each posture.
  3. Close your eyes sometimes. It helps you connect to all sensations.
  4. Engage your bandhas! They will make you fly on your mat and help you with smoother transitions.
  5. Don't take it too seriously. It's only yoga - play, try, fall & try again.
  6. Avoid comparing yourself to other people in the room. Every body is different and beautiful, so take this time to keep discovering. 
  7. Practice, practice, practice. Consistency and patience are key.
  8. Be kind to yourself.
  9. Remember that  you're the one that knows your body the best. Feel free to modify and make each pose work for YOU.
