On Wednesday 17th December BEAT Fitness will close for good.

After eight years of moving together the music will stop.
But when the music stops we want you to keep moving.

We want you to stay strong, stay fit and keep doing what BEAT has always been about: building healthy habits together.
We have a few weeks left to keep moving, sweating and connecting. To build routines, friendships and confidence that will keep you moving long after the beats stop.

Here’s what you need to know.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is simple: finish strong.

To close in a way that reflects everything we’ve stood for in integrity, community and consistency. We want to do the right thing by our clients, our team and our creditors, and to leave a positive legacy behind.

MEMBERSHIPS

On Monday 10 November, all memberships will be updated so they do not renew after their next 28-day period. 

This means your membership will end on or before 8 December 2025.

From 10 November, no new holiday freezes will be possible.
If you prefer to cancel early, you can. But the biggest thing you can do to help us finish well is to continue your commitment to your membership and your fitness.

Members continue to have access to:

• The best value per class rates
• Reduced-rate top-up credits to keep training through to December
• Early booking for the final classes with your favourite coaches
• Advance access to Closing Party tickets

CLASS CREDITS

Credits are valid for the period stated at purchase or until the lunch time classes on Wednesday 17 December 2025, whichever comes first.

After that date, any unused credits will expire.
No refunds, extensions or transfers are possible.

This is your chance to keep moving with us until the very last beat. Your chance to stay consistent and finish the year stronger and fitter than you started.

CREDIT SHARING

To help you use your credits you can now invite up to two friends to join you in the same class using your credits or membership.

How it works:

1. Book your class as usual.
2. On the confirmation page, click “book another” and select the same class.
3. Repeat for up to two people.
4. Show up together and enjoy the workout.

Standard cancellation rules apply: cancel at least six hours before class or the credit will be lost.

KEEP MOVING TOGETHER

Writing and communicating this is something we never wanted to do. But we are determined to finish strong and to celebrate what our community has built together.

Each coach will lead a series of last classes to help you keep moving until the last rep, the last sweat, until the last beat drops. And on Wednesday 17 December we will finish as we started with music, movement and energy at our Closing Party. Members will have first access to tickets, with details to follow soon.

HELP US FINISH STRONG

The decisions made during the COVID health epidemic killed this health business.

Despite fitness being one of the few things clinically proven to improve COVID outcomes, fitness centres were closed and restricted for three years when they could have been part of the solution.

To claim to protect public health while blocking the very businesses that improve it and then refusing to compensate them was morally bankrupt.

We don’t want that damage to continue to affect our team or the many small local suppliers our business depends on.

We want to pay our team, pay our bills. We want to finish strong.
